The session will be delivered by Mark Record, who has faced the challenges of the Cloud directly during his tenure as CIO with Barclays and RBS. Mark will draw upon his extensive experience to illustrate successful case studies, detailing the factors that can contribute to, or hinder, deployment to the Cloud, and what can be done to overcome these barriers.

Speakers Profile

Mark Record – Principal Consultant, iCore Ltd.

Mark has combined his many years in industry with a highly successful advisory and consulting career over the last 7 years and held the position of UK and European Banking Partner at a large consulting firm in London. He has held a number of interim CIO/CTO roles at new and existing banks implementing customer centric digital strategies, solutions and operating models. He has advised a number of Private Equity firms on banking asset buyouts, which included being responsible for developing technology separation and transformation strategies/roadmaps, commercial models, operating and organisation models, engaging regulators and dealing with IT risk management, due diligence and RFPs. Mark has operated at board level for the last 15 years.
