Agile, DevOps Maturity Assessment
iCore’s Agile, DevOps Maturity (ADM) assessment looks at almost 380 individual aspects of Lean-Agile and DevOps ways of working, techniques and supporting processes. These aspects have been sourced from notable, mainstream principles, techniques, and frameworks, all of which are at the heart of the Lean-Agile movement.
The ADM can be used for a number of reasons, but most commonly, organisations use this service when they want to understand their current application and maturity of Lean-Agile ways of working.
The challenge
With rapidly evolving technologies, an increase in organisations embarking on the Digital journey and the introduction of new methodologies such as DevOps and Agile, organisations will be required to adapt very quickly to implement these new ways of working. Organisations working towards digital transformation may observe challenges such as:
- Pressure to increase IT speed of delivery.
- Creating a more efficient and effective IT organisation: aligning business challenges
- Keeping up or keeping ahead of competitors
- Identifying and addressing weaknesses within IT operations
- Defining and communicating what Lean-Agile IT means for the business.
- Lack of clarity on what good looks like – where should we be aiming; what are those key goals?
Our consultancy approach
Our experienced consultant will carry out a full maturity assessment of your current Agile and DevOps processes, toolsets, ways of working and will deliver a report that will include the following aspects:
- A maturity baseline for the eight ADM domains, including observations and assessment findings.
- A gap analysis of the current capability of the organisation against their aspirational future capability.
- A list of actionable recommendations that will deliver meaningful and lasting change actions.
- A high-level roadmap, which outlines priorities, timescales, and dependencies.
Along with the Management Report, our iCore consultant will also produce an executive briefing PowerPoint presentation, which will be used to highlight the main findings, outcomes, and recommendations.
