Steve Ingall

Steve is iCore’s Head of Consultancy.  He has been working in IT service delivery for over 25 years and has been directly involved in IT service management and governance for 15 years, most recently as the global head of service management for a major UK oil and gas company.  He is also an author and speaker on ITSM best practice and IT governance and has delivered speeches on this subject around the world.

Steve has experience of consulting within a wide range of industries and has extensive knowledge of UK government and financial services organisations.  He has spent 10 years as a senior service management consultant and practice manager for 2 leading service management consultancies and holds the ITIL v3 diploma.  He has worked with many large organisations in operational service delivery and service management projects, specifically in the area of service transition and service improvement.  His most significant projects include:- Director responsible for all operational, commercial and managerial aspects associated with a £10m budget and 100 personnel;  as release director for a business outsource project from one training organisation to another, coordinating all resources, services, and facilities with no disruption to either business;  strategic advisor to a major international bank on the adoption of a global “software as a service” toolset, resulting in savings of over £1m; coordinator of service management resources to develop a service delivery plan for a major global technical and media project; project management of a 2 year project for a UK government department which included a new toolset, new organisation structure and new culture.
