Readiness Assessments

iCore provides a service to help gain maximum benefit from an outsource and/or offshore venture. The Readiness Assessment performs an investigation into an IT strategy and IT assets to assess suitability for outsourcing. Whether the strategy includes outsourcing, co-sourcing or in-house capability, the Readiness Assessment can evaluate how prepared an organisation is to work with an external provider, or shared service.  iCore can also lead you through the often overlooked and complex topic of using Application Service Providers (ASP). 

The Readiness Assessment is designed to reveal any obstacles in the way of attaining benefits from outsourcing, identifying areas for improvement. At the end of the assessment, which typically takes three weeks, a gap analysis and executive presentation are provided.

The results can be used to:  

• Provide input to the business case for outsourcing to offset preparation.
• The importance of structuring the retained organisation is key to enduring success and iCore ensures sufficient attention is provided in defining the scope, roles and responsibilities etc.
• Assess investment against expected benefits
• Provide a roadmap to achieve “outsource readiness”.
